We are seeking a committed and driven Account Executive to sell software solutions to our clients (government, non-profit, private sector etc.). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales star with a competitive base salary plus commission.
Responsibilities Include:
• Ability to sell enterprise solutions to B2B customers (i.e. government, non-profit, private sector, etc.)
• Building trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with C-level stakeholders and key decision-makers
• Entrepreneurial mentality with focus on sourcing new business through cold calling and strategic business development campaigns
• Ability to manage sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales projections
• Competence in navigating an opportunity through sales funnel from initial call to close
• Experience using Account Planners to assess opportunity scope, risks, deliverables and timelines
• Proficiency in writing proposals in response to RFP's and RFI's
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of successful enterprise sales experience with a proven, successful track record
• Ability to deliver on growth, selecting and qualifying opportunities and achieving sales objectives
• Proficiency in core sales methodologies (i.e. Franklin Covey, Mahan, Power Messaging, etc.) and ability to apply them in the sales process
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer-focused, strong communication and organizational skills, goal-oriented and self-motivated team player
• Polished and professional presentation skills
• Ability to learn, use and understand existing and future software applications
• Previous business development experience an asset
• Quick to adapt to new environments and able to grasp complex business processes
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
• Adept with industry-standard applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to travel 4-6 weeks throughout the year
