Opportunity: Account Executive - North Central Region
The Account Executive maintains relationships with customers and leads our organic growth in existing hospitals. The Account Executive represents the entire range of product and services to assigned customers, and coordinates the involvement of account resources as needed.
The Account Executive is a key member of the Sales team, working in conjunction with Sales Executives who focus solely on new business opportunities. This position is located in the North Central Region (Minnesota/Iowa/Dakotas).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
Lead or participate in the account planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets and key milestones.
Leverage relationships and success with assigned customers to achieve organic growth in existing hospitals and systems to include bed expansion, product and service up sell/cross sell.
Make actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements .
Coordinate the involvement of account resources as needed, including support, service, outcomes and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers? expectations.
Drive an appreciating value proposition. Lead and advise customer on the IPC Blueprint for success. to achieve the targeted outcomes for the patients and the hospital.
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Develop innovative proposals and deliver effective, impactful sales presentations.
Meet strategic customer objectives in assigned accounts .
Meet or exceed sales quotas and profitability goal.
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company goals.
Completes customer account plans.
Superior proven business and negotiation skills.
Previous Medical software background.
Excellent oral/written communication skills.
Demonstrated customer-service based sales.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software - Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
Knowledge of SalesForce.com a plus.
Excellent presentation skills.
Excellent questioning skills.
Bachelors Degree, Masters degree preferred.
5 to 7 years in account management or sales role.
Previous Healthcare experience within a hospital environment.
Experience selling to executive leadership personnel.
Extensive industry contacts.
Ability and willingness to travel at least 25-50% of the time.
