Health Solutions Group (HSG) is a startup business group within Microsoft, building an innovative portfolio of software solutions targeted at the healthcare industry. This position will be responsible for managing the relationships with our enterprise customers, many of whom are leading healthcare providers. The Account Executive will be responsible for the long-term health of our relationship with the senior leadership of the institution (CxO-level), as measured by customer satisfaction levels as well as broad-adoption of our solutions within the institution.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building and managing senior-level relationships with large, complex enterprise customers in healthcare. As a new business within Microsoft, this individual will also play an important role in shaping the overall customer relationship and customer satisfaction culture within HSG.
Essential Responsibilities:
? Accountable for all aspects of the HSG relationship throughout the customer lifecycle from sales-to-implementation turnover, solution deployment, ongoing support and new solutions sales
? Build deep understanding of the customer environment, including key influencers and decision makers and business challenges, clinical and IT goals and how HSG solutions could solve these problems
? Strategically reviewing the customer?s strategic initiatives, and connecting that to HSG products and services
? Continual engagement to drive strategic entrenchment and use case propagation
? Participating in customer team and planning meetings
? Organizing and driving customer Envisioning Sessions
? Organizing and driving annual customer EBC events
? Ensuring that we are meeting our commitments in Support
? Driving the WO process for new Add-on sales; Internal and customer approval
? Tight coordination with Services team on live projects; Ensuring that all PS/TFM items are prioritized by customer
? Develop strategic account development plans to inform specific activities and business goals of all our customer relationships.
? Drive resolution of customer issues that may span business groups beyond HSG
? Closely monitor service delivery quality and customer feedback in partnership with implementation and support teams
? Monitor and take action on customer satisfaction through periodic, qualitative and quantitative measurement
? Drive customer engagement and participation in product development efforts and user groups
? Exercise good judgment in escalating issues either internally or with the customer.
? Establish effective working relationships with HSG product teams
? Coordinate with the activities of other Microsoft account teams
Qualifications:
? 5-7 years of customer-facing, senior executive relationship management experience in sales, customer account management or business development
? Demonstrated ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
? Cross-discipline collaboration
? Ability to succeed in fast-paced, startup environment
? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
? Experience with clinical environments, enterprise software in the healthcare industry, and hospital information systems is strongly preferred
? Nationwide travel will be required
? Bachelor?s degree required
