Account Executive, Salesforce Channel Scribe Software Corporation
This selling role is an inside sales position reporting to the Director of Salesforce Channel Sales. The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new, upgrade, and add-on business into prospects and existing customers, for Scribe Online (cloud based) replication and integration services, in a given sales territory. The general responsibilities include call planning, execution, opportunity management and closing of Scribe Online sales in the Salesforce channel. These responsibilities include communicating with clients by phone and e-mail, requirements gathering, needs analysis, solution proposal and demonstration ? the overall management of the customer sales cycle. The position requires that you thrive in a busy atmosphere, prioritize your work, and be willing to spend the majority of your workday doing phone contact work.
This position requires the majority of time to be spent on the phone in cold calling Salesforce prospects to promote and sell Scribe Online Data Replication and Data Integration Services to achieve annual sales revenue quota.
Calling into Scribe Online ?free trial? users to convert them to contracted customers to achieve annual sales revenue quota.
Working with new and existing Salesforce partners to grow pipeline and assist with sales opportunities.
Understand the pricing, product structure, and value benefits of the Scribe software products and be able to effectively present these to prospects and customers.
Ability to effectively demonstrate Scribe Online Data Replication and Integration Services capabilities.
Provide a weekly forecast of sales opportunities and meet weekly with Sales Management to review pipeline.
Daily interface with Sales Management, Marketing and Pre-Sales resources as you execute to plan.
Ability to use the Scribe CRM system (Salesforce) for daily management of opportunities.
Ability to work independently on tasks, achieving goals with minimal supervision and guidance ? self-starter, motivated individual contributor.
The ideal candidate will possess the business acumen required to understand and discuss the value proposition of customer data integration as well as the technical acumen required to understand and present the Scribe Online Platform.
Aggressive, self-starter, ability to work independently; have a ?hunter? and ?closer? mentality Ability to engage with and negotiate with all levels of organization (C-Level, Director Level, Mgt. Level, User level)
2 to 5 years inside selling experience, preferably with an online (cloud-based) software or services provider, preferably in the Salesforce market
Excellent personal, phone and presentation skills are required.
Experience in the software business a plus
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will consist of a base salary and variable compensation.
Travel will be minimal,
