The Senior Account Executive role primary role is to maximize sales in the assigned territory through leveraging the partner sales community as well as use their strong technology background in order to identify, develop, accelerate up-sell and close transactions. Ideal candidates should also possess solid business-to-business sales and account management experience and have experience selling to the enterprise client at the highest level of executive leadership.
Identifying, developing and managing relationships within our target market segment which includes but not limited to Mid-Market and large enterprise accounts within Fortune 1000 segment
Managing complex sales-cycles and presenting to executives our integrated suite of online marketing applications
Create and maintain effective partner relationships with partners through active prospecting and networking
Managing forecast and pipeline
Demonstrate the ability to close contracts beneficial to and our customers
Must be able to execute to a business model created and adapted to company goals. As well as achieving assigned sales targets
Must be able to execute against a quota expectation
3-7+ years of quota carrying software or technology 'outside' field sales positions and account management experience.
Experience in the software industry is a plus!
Proven self-starter ability to recognize, analyze, take action on go-to-market approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions and business cases around strategic partnerships
Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions
Enterprise level software sales experience with marketing technology experience ? Email Marketing, Web Analytics, Web CMS a plus
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other business applications skills must be top notch
Ability to travel when required and present to executives level decision makers
4 year University Degree required
