Job Description
The Account Executive will report to the Director of Regional Sales. The Account Executive will manage all aspects of prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business for Satmetrix within a broadly defined territory.
Satmetrix solution offering includes ASP Software, Consulting, and Services. Our target client base are Fortune 1000 customers. Typical buyer for our solution is an executive level line of business owner. The Account Executive will need to be comfortable articulating our value proposition for each of these components of the solution.
Prospecting: Satmetrix serves an emerging market of Customer Loyalty Programs. Although Satmetrix does have some level of inbound activity, a large portion of the Account Executive role will be prospecting.
Qualification: As with any sales position, Qualification will be critical to ensure alignment of our value proposition with client needs.
Coordinating resources: The Account Executive will have numerous resources at their disposal, which need to be tightly and selectively coordinated through the sales cycle.
Territory & Account Management: Developing and implementing a plan to address specific accounts and a territory.
Travel: Territory & Accounts will be located in multiple states and the Account Executive should expect to travel 30% - 50% of the time.
Additional "ideal" Background/Profile:
Experience selling ASP solutions
Online marketing and/or customer community programs
CRM selling experience
Large company and start-up experience desired
Emerging market experience
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience selling Loyalty Consulting and/ or Market Research to Fortune 1000 companies
Sales experience in advertising/interactive agency or market research companies or brand marketing/sales position at a large F1000 company
5 years of business development experience
5 years of selling to C level executives
Proven track record of strong quota achievement
Extensive prospecting experience, ideally in an emerging market or small company environment
Proven expertise managing complex sales cycles within a consultative value focused sales methodology
We desire a self-starter and someone that is self-managed
