We're looking for ambitious, driven, self-starters who want to be on the leading edge of innovation in online media and technology. This position is located in Santa Monica, CA.
Responsibilities
- Reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall team goals
- Prospect, access and develop relationships with national clients and advertising agencies
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations via the phone and web using industry knowledge and marketing data to communicate the Demand Media value proposition
- Maintain and grow advertising relationships with the ability to analyze campaign performance and recommend optimized solutions specific to each clients' success metrics and objectives
- Always deliver the highest level of customer service
Requirements
- 4-10 years of online media experience in a sales/commission-based role with a proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
- Prior sales experience and familiarity of digital media, online marketing technology and social web services.
- Ability to effectively manage time, reach key decision-makers and quickly assess the opportunity potential.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms
- Ability to move fast and thrive in a dynamic, quickly-changing environment
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and have a positive attitude
- Team player and good sense of humor.
