Account Executive Optify
We are seeking a super smart, motivated, fun sales professional who is passionate, competitive, creative and proactive about winning customers for Optify. We appreciate top performers who consistently meet or exceed their quota.
In this position you will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads, scheduling appointments, delivering online product demonstrations, whining to our marketing team about your leads (we consider this your solemn right as a sales team member) and closing new customers primarily over the phone. Just kidding, we?re experiencing high demand for our software and services, so you?ll deal with highly qualified leads!
The position is ideal for the individual who has experience managing a sales pipeline of leads and transactional accounts, comfort with online research and sales automation applications (e.g. Optify and salesforce.com). You should be comfortable making calls to inbound requests, quickly qualifying opportunities and prioritizing your day around your workload. Last, we strongly recommend you be a practiced technician at loading and firing your nerf gun during the daily and somewhat random nerf gun wars.
Generate new customers consistently at or above quota
Become an expert in digital marketing, as well as being an expert in identifying the challenges that our prospective customers face, which can be solved with digital marketing strategies
Build and maintain good working relationships with customers and potential customers
Work collaboratively across the sales team to complete activities including presentations, prospecting, qualification, closing and account management
Contribute to product roadmap by communicating key product and service needs to marketing and engineering teams
Track relevant sales activity in Salesforce.com
What You Should Have
Consistent top 10% sales contributor in your peer group; consistently beat quota in past sales roles
1-3 years of lead qualifying or sales experience, preferably including a startup or new product environment
Experience in a telesales, telemarketing, or high volume out-bound calling environment required
High work ethic, energy, passion, sense of humor, and enthusiasm for online marketing and media
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM applications
Experience with Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media
BA or BS Degree in a related field
Ability to write compelling blog posts on your sales and marketing experiences that can help our customers be successful
Strong social media and online marketing presence with your own twitter handle, website and/or blog.
