Principal duties of this sales position will be to acquire and grow new revenue:
Hunt, harvest, nurture, and protect relationships with existing clients ? develop ?trusted advisor? relationships.
Hunt within account base to identify solutions with a positive ROI.
Harvest net-new relationships to grow revenue and ensure Varolii is a strategic partner.
Provide thought leadership within account base.
Delivery of outstanding customer service.
Develop strategic account plans and execute tactical actions to support the account growth.
Grow additional application opportunities resulting in revenue growth.
Provide the plan of action for the extended Varolii team to support the account plan ? strong communication a must.
Manage a variety of resources to show the ?Varolii value? in a matrix management environment.
Leverage Varolii industry presence and expertise.
Motivate and lead the extended team within Varolii to support your account plan.
Be inclusive of the extensive Varolii supporting team ? operations and technical support, professional services, sales teams, and executive management.
Manage your business
Understand the customer buying process and accurately forecast revenue
Maintain CRM with focus on prospecting and opportunity tracking
Negotiate contract terms and pricing.
Coordinate the extended team resources to measure, monitor, and report on Varolii solution business results to ensure solutions are addressing the client business requirements.
Be a Varolii Team member and leader
Help identify and assist in process improvements where appropriate.
Understand and stay current on the strategic corporate direction.
Contribute to the overall success of Varolii.
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
8(+) years selling business application solutions at the enterprise level, primarily to LOB executives in collections.
A demonstrated track record of successful selling and a corresponding earnings history.
Board room presence, outstanding presentation skills, and excellent written and spoken communication skills required.
Someone who thrives in a team environment and knows how to effectively leverage resources in a matrix management environment to drive business.
Ability to manage the opportunity pipeline from prospecting to securing the signature ? knowledge and expertise in the fundamentals of complex selling.
Experience selling a SaaS and recurring revenue model
Experience selling contact/call center, CRM, or enterprise software solutions
Home office experience required.
BS/BA is required.
This field based quota carrying position requires excellent account management skills with primary role of growing and protecting revenue. Travel required (+50%) and will be regional in scope. Ideal candidate has a solid track record selling to wireless-telco companies.
