The Account Executive will be the driving force behind new business growth across all designated territory. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be well organized and have a plan for working his territory. He/she will work the entire sales pipeline on a daily basis. This starts with creating new leads, qualifying the leads, developing the opportunity, creating value, presenting solutions and closing new business. The ideal candidate will be a ?Hunter?, while still having the skill set to maintain and grow the business relationships within the territory. This position requires strong prospecting skills.
Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas by initiating and completing the sales process including prospecting, lead generation, qualifying opportunities, scheduling appointments, making presentations, understanding business needs, developing solutions and proposals, forecasting, and overcoming objections to close the sale.
The successful sales person will be a strong hunter with the business acumen of opening new accounts and helping organizations understand X-IO?s unique value proposition.
Focus on selling X-IO?s line of enterprise product offerings and leverage all resources required to drive success.
Implement sales strategies including introduction of new products and technologies leading to expansion of existing and new customers.
Provide accurate and timely sales reporting feedback to X-IO management including but not limited to product sales forecasting.
Review and provide specific solution recommendations for complex customer requirements and equipment configurations that meet customer needs.
Acquire and maintain industry knowledge and competitive landscape.
Create and maintain Territory Plans and review those plans with X-IO management.
Deliver on commitments in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
5+ years business to business sales experience.
5+ years technology sales experience.
Have a demonstrated sales track record with industry contacts and proven experience selling enterprise solutions
Ability to travel as much as 50%.
Attend on-site customer appointments as needed.
Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Ability to effectively communicate and interface with all clients levels, from operational through C-level, as well as peers and executive level management at X-IO.
Proficient in contract negotiations.
Ability to support and thrive in a virtual or home office environment.
Ability to work well under pressure, execute results against strategy and meet critical deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities and expectations while being responsive to the customer.
