Account Executive, TV Sales TubeMogul
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED TubeMogul is seeking an experienced Account Executive to help us simplify and enlighten digital brand advertising. You will be responsible for selling TubeMogul?s digital video media and platform solutions to TV media buying and planning agencies and brands in the region. The ideal candidate is an intense but consultative seller with strong analytical and communication skills. You will be expected to be a leading expert in a product-focused company and fast-moving industry. This is a key role that will report directly to the Vice President of TV Sales.
The Account Executive will report directly to the Vice President of TV Sales and will work closely with the executive leadership team. The position requires light travel to our Emeryville headquarters, and other cities throughout the eastern region.
The qualified candidate will possess:
Ability to call on and work with various decision-makers, stakeholder, influencers within target accounts and both junior and senior levels
Understanding customers? or prospects? key goals, workflows, and needs through in-person and remote meetings
Understanding historical and trending characteristics of the media buying landscape
Educating clients on the benefits of video and real-time buying
Problem-solving by developing creative and innovative structures and solutions
Developing, negotiating and structuring long-term relationships with clients
Providing campaign strategy consultation and analysis
Highly entrepreneurial drive, with experience building a new customer segment, or launching the sales of a new product.
A proven track record of exceeding sales targets
5+ years of experience working in the television media sales.
3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in digital media and/or ad technology sales.
Can work independently and problem-solve in ambiguous situations
Strong analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills
Abnormally hungry and willing to do what it takes to delight our customers
A track record of developing enduring client/partner relationships
A passion for marketing and advertising
Ability to pose creative solutions to address client needs
Strong work ethic and drive to exceed expectations
Fun, team player!
A BS/BA is required, MBA or equivalent degree preferred
