Responsibilities:
- Assist Account Management within the branded ad sales process through job shadowing and contributing to various sales tasks
- Learn and utilize ad serving, research, and reporting tools including:
o Double Click, Adap â€" Media Planning, Inventory Management, Reporting
o ComScore, Nielsen â€" Competitive and Media research
- Participate in providing insights for sales presentations and campaign recaps by:
o Taking high-quality screenshots
o Highlighting campaign successes
o Understanding sales/ media terminology and metrics
Training:
- Ad Serving Platforms â€" DART, Adap TV â€" Lucy Nguyen/ Elaine Pastrana
- Research Software â€" ComScore â€" Lucy Nguyen
- Presentations â€" Snag It, Microsoft Powerpoint â€" Lucy Nguyen
Feedback:
- Weekly 1x1s with Account Management â€" Lucy Nguyen
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the sales process from presales to close
o Learn about the Demand Media story and sales offerings
o Understand the Agency/ Client relationship and media landscape
o Presale â€" RFPs, Sales Pitches and Proposals
o Post-sales â€" Campaign Recap and Screenshots
Internship Requirements:
- Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an academic program
- Student's school must submit letter validating that the internship is an essential part of his/her academic program
- 10 to 15 hours/ week
