Kratos was awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide Continuous Monitoring as a Service (CMaaS) to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as part of the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program. We are seeking a motivated sales professional with experience in selling cybersecurity solutions to enterprises, government agencies, and system integrators to help manage this account.
Primary job function is to develop, cultivate, and manage relationships in support of our DHS CDM prime contract. Will be accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned bookings quota objective. Promotes customer satisfaction and loyalty by demonstrating an understanding of customers critical business issues and delivering Cybersecurity solutions that help clients meet their objectives. Selected individual will be responsible for:
Identify and pre-qualify highly relevant opportunity targets within the Federal government with an emphasis on DHS CDM opportunities. Drive all aspects of opportunity capture for major contract vehicles, including coordination of teaming partner and sub-contractor activities.
Facilitate relationships with third party system integrators who can assist with new bookings.
Coordinate the development of win strategies for new business.
Implement the deal registration process for teaming partners.
Lead formal proposal process.
Work closely with other members of the team to successfully execute the sales campaign.
Be involved in updating sales pipeline to provide near real-time updates to the pipeline.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Research all available sources (FBO, INPUT, etc.) to identify opportunities of interest based upon the companys target markets
Assist in the develop and maintenance of appropriate agency program and contracting contacts
Develop and maintain appropriate government and industry partner relationships
Work with services leadership to qualify new business, sole sources, and ongoing delivery /task orders using existing IDIQ vehicles (e.g. DHS CDM, EAGLE, GSA, CIO-SP2, STATUS).
Coordinate the development of successful strategies to penetrate accounts/opportunities.
Successfully execute proposal processes, including managing all members of the team, writing and/or editing proposal content
Work independently but also collaborate closely with othe members of the team in qualifying potential opportunities.
Develop well thought-out strategies for winning the business.
Develop contacts and market awareness for potential teaming relationships.
Provide information and reports to the executive team, attend marketing events, etc. Other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills:
Three to seven years selling cybersecurity solutions to enterprises, government agencies, and system integrators.
A background interfacing with federal agencies, specifically recent activity with DHS, and other civilian agencies, etc
Effective written/verbal communication, strong presentation and technical project management skills as well as a strong record of measurable performance are required
Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret clearance
Ideally has a working level knowledge of network security systems, with experience in operational network security and federal security compliance standards
Ideally has experience involving high tech information security services
Proven track record qualifying and coordinating efforts to secure new business
Experience working with US Public Sector Integrators and Service Providers
