Account Manager AppFolio

The Account Manager maintains and grows existing relationships within our rapidly expanding customer base while identifying new business opportunities thru prospecting, lead follow-up/qualification and services presentations to customers in order to find great value matches.
Each Account Manager is a champion for customer satisfaction and equipped for success with training on our products and sales methodology along with continued mentoring peers and sales leadership.
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, quick learners who enjoy building relationships and selling in an environment where great service is paramount.
Prospecting, educating, and closing deals with AppFolio customers
Maintaining active engagement with customer opportunities through creative follow-ups designed to increase customer interest
Developing and maintaining a high level of knowledge about Appfolio?s value added services
Qualifying customers and working closely with the onboarding team to ensure a good regulatory and compliance fit
Creating relationships with customers to ensure product satisfaction in general and that new services are successfully adopted
Managing and maintaining accurate account/opportunity entries within Salesforce (CRM).
Skills and Knowledge:
Exceptional level of drive and passion for results
Willingness to learn new skills and build a career in relationship selling
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Some sales experience is desirable but not necessary
Some experience working in software or business-to-business environment is desired but not necessary
Strong MS office skills
Salesforce experience helpful
