Account Manager Autotask

Job Summary:
Applicant will be responsible for supporting Autotask Customers, selling Autotask Add-on Products, driving internal account growth and managing day to day account activity. In your role you will proactively identify, support, and forecast sales opportunities with Autotask customers. Additionally, you will act as your customer?s primary Autotask contact and will facilitate interdepartmental interaction as needed to achieve customer?s satisfaction and optimal use of Autotask product. Limited travel may be required.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for being the ?first point of contact? for existing customers, and quickly assessing their needs, level of satisfaction and potential add on sales opportunities. You are responsible and accountable for monitoring incoming leads from the web and other marketing activities and responding promptly. You will also be expected to take and process incoming customer calls to the company?s sales line.
The AM needs to understand the company?s software applications and benefits in order to help explain ?the basics? to prospects. Over time your knowledge needs to increase to trusted advisor to answer more in depth questions and/or involve Sales Engineering resources as needed. AM?s are expected to be able to close most opportunities as presented and seek additional assistance as needed from Management and other team members.
In addition to processing incoming leads from the web, phone, and e-mails, AM?s are also expected to make outbound calls to increase sales, inform customers and at times support the company?s marketing programs. These outbound calls will generally carry an objective or a follow-up afterwards. AM?s will follow-up on incoming leads that they were unable to reach on the first attempt, and constantly seek out new opportunities.
Specific duties of the AM include:
Rapidly responding to all lead generation efforts relating to customer accounts from marketing activities including Webinars, Tradeshows, and other Marketing programs.
Collaborating with sales team on a regular basis to ensure customers are being reached in a timely manner, and identifying future opportunities.
Make regular contact with all customers with a focus on larger customers to maintain their current revenue stream and increase it through additional add on sales
Handle customer satisfaction issues escalating as needed to management and customer support teams.
Must maintain accurate and timely contact activity data in our sales automation tool.
Responsible for achieving monthly sales objectives
Employees may be required to perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience.
Must demonstrate forecasting, selling and relationship building skills,
Knowledge of internet technologies and understanding of the SAAS business model.
Knowledge of the IT and Helpdesk markets is a plus.
The candidate should also be a motivated, self starter excited by new technologies, and must excel in everything that they undertake.
Strong telesales skills a must.
4-year college degree preferred.
