Major Responsibilities:
-Responsible for finding new clients in the Federal & DOD space.
-Responsible for finding new accounts and end users.
- Effectively manage and find new accounts and channel partners as well as manage end user account coverage and growth of the territory/country/region generating bookings.
- Build business by recruiting new channel partners and accounts.
-Cold calling and prospecting.
- Develop new business through engagement of optimal resellers.
-Support partners by conducting training, seminars, education and presentations
-10-20% travel
Desired Background & Experience:
-3-7 years Federal Civilian and/or DOD sales experience.
-Background in selling security and network/Internet Protocol network-related applications.
-Position requires day to day and overnight travel.
-A proven track record of success is critical.
-Heavy cold calling and prospecting background required.
-Must be a self-starter, hunter, and a strong closer.
