DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Account Manager is responsible for acting as the primary liaison between sales, trafficking and the publisher. Day to day responsibilities include revenue analysis, report generation, sales support for RFPs, troubleshooting, site traffic analysis, sponsorship development and communication to sales as to the general status and overall health of the hub.
Responsibilities:
Publisher Account Management:
o Managing the relationship between Evolve and our affiliate websites.
o On-boarding of New Publishers Post-PO Transition (Per Business Development On-boarding Process; Including Tag Testing and Generation, Follow up RE: W-9, Submission of comScore to Sales Strategy; Obtaining media kit, pricing and specs for sponsorships).
o Monitoring campaign delivery, to ensure under delivery support acting as the primary liaison between Campaign Managers and Publishers.
o Keeping abreast of publisher developments including, editorial changes, site sponsorship opportunities, traffic trends or new monetization opportunities.
o Managing key publisher information such as revenue tracking, expiring contracts and
o Analyzing publisher and advertiser trends, in spending and campaign executions.
o Reviewing insertion orders pre-sales to identify any campaign irregularities before RFPs are submitted.
o Collaborating with Assoc. Director of Account Management to deploy revenue generating and efficiency driving initiatives, including analysis of affiliate sell-thru, margins across affiliates, areas for improved margin via affiliate renegotiations, tagging modifications or increased performance revenue.
o Providing frequent and unsolicited updates to Associate Director of Account Management and Sr. Director of Business Development as to the status of projects and overall workload.
o Collaborating with fellow managers to delegate work to Associate Account Manager team members to improve bandwidth and support for higher revenue projects (ex. Springboard optimization, deployment).
o Identifying areas for increased revenue across portfolio and providing recommendations to Managing Director and Associate Director of Account Management.
o Ensuring all teams ? globally ? have visibility and transparency into pending initiatives, status of new products. Communicating with Sales Heads to understand the needs of the sales team and identifying areas in improved communication across teams.
Sales & Marketing Support:
o Ensuring that pricing is fair and that publishers are being compensated accordingly
o Tagging all relevant sections of the site for optimal sales opportunities; Continued management of site tagging and retagging.
o Reviewing insertion orders post sales to ensure deliverability, rates, campaign integration issues and irregularities which may affect the delivery of a campaign.
o Supporting the development of sponsorship packages, by spot checking the above (e.g. Deliverability, irregularities, etc.)
o Generating monthly and bi-weekly updates on the status of the hub, including but not limited to: Active projects and initiatives, notable sites, min CPM changes, ad product deployment, comScore or Google Analytics traffic fluctuations, site redesigns, editorial or sponsorship opportunities and any restrictions or prohibitions on sales.
o Inputting standardized opportunities into the site capabilities and integrated opportunities excels.
o Supporting testing of any new ad products coordinating between publishers, marketing and sales integration.
o Deploying new ad products, including link building, content syndication, Springboard video, new ad units, etc.
o Identifying competitor trends and making recommendations for new a placements, packages or sponsorship opportunities.
Owned & Operated Site Support:
o Monitoring of owned and operated site traffic and affiliate site traffic, relaying content or traffic deficiencies to Product Owner.
o Assisting with generation of DFP reports for the owned and operated site and its affiliates for non-standard sponsorships
o Supporting divisional leaders with campaign management initiatives to drive traffic and support campaigns.
