Billtrust Account Managers help customers maximize the value they receive from our CompleteBilling Service. This involves three actions: helping the client take full advantage of the features they have already licensed, selling them optional modules and helping them increase their electronic billing and payment adoption rates. This is accomplished with a mix of onsite meetings, web demonstrations, phone calls, and emails. The results of these actions are continued improvements in three key customer metrics for Billtrust: satisfaction, revenue and electronic billing/payment adoption.
This position will focus exclusively on our B2B biller clients, with a mix of major and mid-sized customers across a region of approximately 15 states. This is not a technical customer service roll; it?s a sales role with a proactive focus on helping our customer get the most out of our constantly evolving CompleteBilling Service.
?Bachelors degree and 3 or more years of sales experience for a product or service sold to businesses, preferably software-related.
?Project management or other customer-facing experience in a similar market will be considered as well.
?Business accounting experience, whether for an employer or for a company selling to the accounting function, is helpful.
?Quick learner with an ability to learn a sophisticated product and it?s add-on products
?Excellent listening skills and an ability to analyze customer?s product needs and what features they need
?Strong sales instincts with a genuine interest in customer satisfaction
?Self-motivation and drive to exceed quarterly revenue goals.
?Excellent written and verbal communication in order to effectively write detailed emails, and present via phone and in-person including strong demonstration skills.
?Willingess to travel two to three times overnight a month
