Account Manager McLaren Software
Primary responsibilities of the role will be:
The Account Manager is primarily responsible for selling McLaren products and services to allocated new and existing customers or allocated territory/industry sector. This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client business drivers and requirements and to manage the sales process to a successful conclusion.
Reporting to VP Sales, Americas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The main daily duties, tasks and responsibilities of the position include:
The primary duty shall be generating revenue to meet or exceed the annual sales target from allocated new and existing accounts and allocated territory or industry sector.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
Manage the entire sales cycle for new leads and opportunities.
Follow the company sales methodology.
Write sales proposals and responses to customer Request for Proposals.
Conduct own initial product demonstrations, ensuring that the company's products are matched to the identified clients needs.
Performing sales lead generation activities to ensure the sales pipeline remains full.
Working with partners to leverage new business for McLaren Software
Account management of allocated customer accounts.
Maintaining accurate and up to date records of activity in the CRM system.
Submitting accurate and timely revenue forecasts.
Maintain an up to date knowledge of McLaren products, relevant industry developments and the competition.
Other strategic efforts as demanded by the company.
What knowledge is required to do the job.
At least 5 years demonstrable track record of successful new business sales experience.
Experience of the Engineering Document Management market.
Experience selling Enterprise Software Solutions.
Oil and Gas Industry Experience.
Spanish language skills.

Strong consultative selling skills.
The ability to build relationships at all levels, including C-Level.
Excellent communications and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate using written word.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
An understanding of Sales Methodologies including Miller Heiman Strategic Selling
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
