THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Responsible for customer service activities for a determined group of client facilities. This includes complaint investigation and resolution, training facility staff to pharmacy policies and processes, and introducing new technology products.
Education & Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalency
Exceptional organizational skills, able to self direct activities and prioritize responsibilities. Ability to teach adults, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good social skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, exhibits problem solving skill, and exhibits ability to develop and implement appropriate training materials and construct trade show equipment as well as represent at trade show booths.
Flexible, customer service oriented, and cooperative, personable, leader, dependable, honest, and respectful
Visits assigned facilities at least monthly.
Responsible for customer service activities; complaint investigation and resolution in concert with their supervisor, the consultant pharmacist and pharmacy corporate staff.
Completes and submits Progress Reports as appropriate.
Reports names of new facility staff to pharmacy office for inclusion in the pharmacy directory.
Establishes relationship with administrator, nursing director and nurse managers.
Informs facilities of new pharmacy procedures, processes and forms. Distributes new materials as directed.
In-services facilities to pharmacy issues when necessary. Provides one-to-one instruction to staff nurses as appropriate.
Performs medication inspections as requested
Assists consultant pharmacist with drug diversion investigations
Performs medication observations annually in each assigned nursing home
Assists facilities with implementation of technology products such as My Remedi, EMar, ATI and other programs developed by the pharmacy and made available to it's customers.
Assists new facilities with transition activities, in-servicing, cart set up, emergency supply set up. etc. as directed.
Submits monthly written reports of their activities in each facility by the last day of the current month.
Maintains frequent contact with their supervisor by phone and email.
Notifies their supervisor and facility consultant pharmacist when an issue is reported or observed.
Attends consultant pharmacist meetings
Participates in the bi-weekly consultant conference calls.
Attends quarterly DON luncheons and other Continuing Education and marketing events
Submits expense reports every two weeks on non payday Friday.
Assists with Trade Show activities as directed.
Other Account Management and Marketing related duties as assigned.
Exhibits ability to communicate verbally and in writing with good English language skills
Adequate vision and hearing to perform job requirements with or without corrective appliances
Ability to bend and lift 40 pounds
Must maintain ability to travel up to 300 miles per work day
