REPORTS TO: Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing
The Spanlink Account Manager is responsible for sales of Cisco?s enterprise-class Contact Center and Unified Communications applications into major accounts.
? Meet or exceed revenue and margin objectives through sales to both new and existing customers.
? Management of long-cycle sales through both direct and indirect channels (in particular the Cisco and Cisco partner community).
? Consultative selling approach to provide high-value solutions to customers.
? Provide accurate forecasting and maintain complete account profiles.
? Judicious and collaborative use of sales and support resources of the company.
? Timely pursuit of leads provided by marketing.
? Balanced advocacy for customer and company.

? Consultative selling experience
? Enterprise-class sales with experience selling $1M+ business applications to senior business and technical executives.
? Strong knowledge of complex selling process.
? Ability to understand customer business requirements, and to translate those requirements into complete turnkey solutions.
? Experience selling contact center applications (call recording, knowledge management, collaboration, IVR/CTI, etc), and Unified Communications solutions (IP Telephony, Video, etc); helpful to have a working knowledge of contact center operations and terms.
? Desirable to have sold premise-based or hosted voice systems; must have a working knowledge of PBX technology, especially VoIP-based solutions.
? Hunter mentality - must able to develop opportunities independently.
? Professional and persuasive.
? 5 - 7 years of successful enterprise application sales, in the communications or contact center industries.
? BA/BS in Business, Computer Science or related field. MBA is a plus
