Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing day to day processes in all aspects of clients insurance program cycle.
Generate documents and produce correspondence including summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals for new and renewal business.
Analyze client?s loss exposures and determine coverage needs.
Completes all policies and underwriting specifications on accounts; prepare all accompanying documentation and analysis.
Prepare policy renewals and endorsements, account updating, and billing.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and carriers through phone calls, personal meetings, seminars etc.
Grow and maintain a book of business while continuing to partner with senior brokers and leadership on larger client accounts.
Keep current on marketplace changes and inform client as necessary.
Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality of information processed.
Attend required training sessions, courses, etc. to develop and maintain up-to-date skills and product knowledge.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
BA/BS Degree or High School graduate with 5 plus years commercial property and casualty insurance industry experience.
Ability to establish work priorities and manage time effectively.
Ability to operate as a consult advising clients on program structures including captives.
Ability to use initiative and good judgment in accomplishing tasks with minimal errors.
Establish and maintain effective work relationships and to function in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficiency in use of personal computers, including data entry, word processing and spread sheet applications. Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
