Account Manager CognoLink
We are looking to add a new Account Manager, with a dedicated focus on buy side firms, to our New York team. The account manager will develop a high performing research team and drive usage through building and managing relationships with existing clients and generating new relationships with prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and drive usage by pushing ideas, penetrating accounts and building a strong network of clients.
Guarantee an outstanding level of service by ensuring Research Teams are performing effectively.
Work closely with Team Leaders to communicate client-specific needs and account intelligence as needed.
Collate feedback from clients on service provided and promote new solutions to the client when necessary.
Represent Research and support Business Development during client pitches.
Act as the first point of contact for buy side clients in the US keeping up to date with any relevant industry or market developments.
Work closely with Business Development to prepare and contribute to subscription renewal and upgrade strategy.
Reporting directly to the VP North America you will need to have a solid understanding of financial markets combined with previous exposure to buy side investors. It is imperative that you are able to communicate effectively and build relationships with senior level individuals from various backgrounds and specifically the finance industry. A willingness to be flexible and motivated whilst working under pressure are important attributes to be successful within this position. Additionally, you should have a demonstrable ability to understand industry structures and to discuss trends confidently as well as identifying potential areas of growth from a business stand point.
