The Account Manager (AM) is an important member of the Medivo Client Services Team, responsible for assigned programs? overall success and client satisfaction. The AM manages a portfolio of programs requiring frequent, direct communications both externally with clients to set and manage expectations, as well as internally with colleagues from Business Development, Operations, Marketing, Product Development, Medical Affairs, and Strategy. The AM ensures all program specifications are described accurately and delivered on budget, on scope, and on time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Have a thorough understanding of Medivo?s product and service offerings for providers, patients, and clients.
Work closely with the Business Development (BD) Team and clients to understand the business requirements for the program and to develop effective working relationships and ongoing two-way communication flow with both BD individuals and clients.
Define the program scope, deliverables, resource requirements, and work plan to successfully manage programs through development and delivery - including the identification and management of program change requests.
Ensure that program priorities, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are clearly communicated and understood by the client and by the internal program team.
Identify, prioritize, mitigate, manage, and drive resolution of program issues, constraints, dependencies, and risks throughout the life of the project. Proactively identify risk areas and critical items that need to be completed to keep programs on track.
Prepare regular status reports, program documentation, and other communications to internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate and lead program kick-off meetings, updates, ongoing management meetings, and program summary meeting, to review program status, resolve issues, and address risks.
Ensure that the program is delivered within the financial requirements of scope and budget or, where otherwise required, at the direction of the management team.
Contribute to the on-going development of program management best practices by helping refine and further develop the Medivo program methodology and deliverables.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years proven experience planning and executing commercial marketing solutions on behalf of pharmaceutical brands
Bachelor?s degree desirable
Knowledge of account management principles and processes required
Must be a self-starter with proven experience interacting with senior management
Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills; strong public speaking and presentation skills
Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
Strong organizational and time management skills; strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond in a timely manner to inquiries
Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent applications required
Demonstrates the value of being a team player through his/her actions
Has the desire to work in a start-up environment where personal contributions make an immediate impact, and where accountability is completely transparent
Has the ability to execute under accelerated timeframes and quickly adapt to changes in priorities
