ABOUT US:
We're a company called Quirky. What are we Quirky about? We make invention accessible to everyone in the world. We develop two brand new consumer products every week. The ideas for those products come from anyone who has had "wouldn't it be cool if--" type ideas for decades.
So yeah, two products per week and brand new product lines, that's why we're writing this job description. We need an account manager to help rock the world of retail and manage the exciting new partnerships we're launching.
You may have worked in account management roles in the past, but are you a brand-obsessed, action oriented individual ready to make the shift from your current job into irreverent 'we're gonna make invention accessible' start-up culture? We sure hope so.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Understand the competitive landscape of each account.
Analyze sell-through and react with recommendations to improve business.
Manage retail calendars for key accounts and work with operations to deliver on projects and purchase orders.
Create, monitor and maintain sales productivity reports by account and product.
Work closely with Sales team/ Brand Manager to ensure all communication is in sync with retail strategy.
Plan and travel to meetings, events and stores as needed.
Be generally enthusiastic, outgoing, hard working & fun to be around!
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
2-5 years experience with a national account.
Knowledge of retail industry.
Proven track record of driving projects to completion.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Action oriented and detail oriented.
Unrelenting intellectual curiosity and pride in doing awesome work.
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
Good with technology, numbers, dates, details, and deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a similar role at a well-known, high-end consumer products company.
Understanding and appreciation of high-end housewares.
Understanding of retail planning processes.
