Job Description :
Identify, generate and close new revenue opportunities (software, services, and renewals) within your assigned account customer base. The successful sales professional will have to deliver insight to their customers and have the ability to proactively navigate and engage various decision-makers and influencers; uncovering goals and associated challenges; and communicating a vision of the value each can achieve through SAVO?s enabling capabilities.
Additionally, you will ensure processes are in place to successfully monitor and measure key customer metrics, leveraging the results to ensure customers are attaining, sustaining, and increasing expected value, thus renewing their software licensing long term.
Focus on account renewals and upsells that maintain and grow the business by ensuring your customers are continuing to successfully use SAVO and achieving their goals.
Identify new opportunities through proactive discovery and expansion within the existing customer account.
Develop account plans, strategies, and presentations designed for account expansion and penetration. Call-on and deliver presentations to decision makers of multiple levels within the organization.
Ability to rally the appropriate resources in support of your customer strategy, when required.
Ability to diagnose, synthesize, and partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach ? understanding their business goals, needs, challenges, strategies and priorities in order to architect and deliver a value-added business solution.
Remain knowledgeable of SAVO's products and services, as well as competitors and threats within accounts that need to be overcome, in order to advance and facilitate your sales efforts.
Acquire and integrate industry knowledge and insight related to general trends, methodologies, emerging technologies and competitors.
Job Requirements :
Location ? Preferred New York City Area
Previous experience selling over the phone and through web conferencing
Previous experience selling sales enablement software, content management, sales methodology or CRM is a plus.
Understanding of sales methodology(s).
Proven ability to be proactive, work hard, and driven to succeed.
Track record of meeting and exceeding quota by growing revenues in existing accounts over a sustained period of time.
Excellent communication and presentation skills ? you must be able to provide insight and deliver presentations that are aligned to customer?s needs.
Comfort using Microsoft Office (specifically manipulating data to present metrics and convey insight to your customers).
Experience ? three to seven years related experience.
Experience with SAVO a plus.
