Shazam is seeking an Account Manager to join its growing Account Management team. Shazam is the undisputed leader in Second Screen, providing advertisers unparalleled opportunities to connect with consumers through mobile using its core product, Shazam for TV. Account Management serves as the face of Shazam for TV to the client; communicating known issues, evaluating performance, improving education, and driving repeat business.
Ideal candidates will have experience in online advertising and marketing with an understanding of the TV advertising landscape, along with a proven ability to build enduring client relationships. Candidates must have a curiosity for product and technology and enjoy working cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Operations, and Engineering.
Act as a principal liaison between the client and Shazam?s internal teams
Support clients throughout the post-sale process by actively participating in client meetings, navigating and influencing agencies and advertisers, and guiding clients through creation and execution of the best second screen experiences
Manage the ideation, creative process, execution, and reporting of Shazam for TV campaigns as well as mobile and tablet media campaigns
Understand brand strategy and be able to articulate Shazam?s positioning within that strategy
Articulate Shazam ?best practices? to clients and guide them through the education process
Upsell existing clients on new products and features, driving renewal business to meet revenue targets
Work closely with Shazam Operations teams to manage the campaign implementation process
Interpret, articulate and formulate client analysis and success stories in post-campaign recap decks
3-5 years relevant experience (preferably at a digital agency or within a sales organization)
Online media and/or mobile experience preferred
Best in class project management skills with a strong ability to prioritize and deliver timely work
Keen attention to detail in execution and forms of communication
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects accordingly
Passionate about ensuring world-class customer service to clients
Effectively communicate between internal departments and work well with different personalities
Ability to think high-level about product strategy and vision
Flexibility within an ever-changing/evolving, fast-paced, yet thrilling world of digital & emerging media
Eagerness to learn about the company, industry, and clients
Proficient with MS Office products, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Desire and ability to contribute ideas to brainstorms
Creative know-how, Photoshop skills a plus
