Account Manager StrongMail Systems

StrongMail Systems is searching for an Account Manager to join our Client Services Team in NYC to take responsibility for the day to day management of named StrongMail clients. Reporting to an Account Director, the Account Manager will be the primary advocate for the client.
Responsibilities:
Retain, grow and develop account through daily interaction with clients; ensure contract renewal on all accounts
Understand and document use of the StrongMail application and services to support client?s marketing & communication goals
Develop call and in-person meeting cycle for existing accounts to discuss usage, options, and renewals
Identify opportunities within your client?s marketing and communication strategy that can be improved via incremental investments in StrongMail products and services
Assist in all aspects of the sales cycle including, proposals, scoping, pricing, and contract negotiations, etc. related to all renewal and up-sell opportunities
Provide deliverability guidance to help clients maximize email inbox placement
Capture and quantify business impact of StrongMail solution for client and identify/retain client references
Experience and Qualifications:
A deep understanding and passion for email and social marketing
5 years of experience in advertising and marketing; at least 3 years in a similar role as the Account Manager
Comfort working in highly flexible, entrepreneurial environment
Proven success working in cross functional teams
Strong ability to establish priorities and make decisions
Strong project planning and management skills
Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills
Strong team building and interpersonal skills
Highly active in digital media, personally and/or professionally
Undergraduate degree in business or marketing
Light travel required (less than 10%)
