Account Manager, Paid Media The Search Agency, Inc.
The Account Manager, Paid Media is responsible for the day-to-day paid media (e.g., SEM and Display) operational success of their accounts and the overall coordination of work with the Delivery team for their book-of-business. They are to ensure that all projects and deliverables are executed effectively and efficiently. The Account Manager will partner with the Account Director in building client relationships but will be primarily responsible for providing operational direction to service team members. They will collaborate with their peers on strategy to grow accounts and bring innovative ideas to their clients.
The Account Manager must be able to simultaneously manage a number of projects, leverage deep paid search/display industry knowledge and experience from project to project, articulate strategic goals and ensure the on-strategy deliverables are timely and of high quality for our partners. The right candidate must be enthusiastic, pro-active, detail-oriented, and a hardworking professional and be able to work well in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
Be an effective centralized point-of-contact and act as the key point in the flow of work between client(s) and functional team members.
Ensure all goals and deadlines are met or client and internal expectations are proactively communicated.
Work with the partner-facing Account Directors, insights and service delivery teams to execute client's strategic plans and provide best-in-class SEM and Display deliverables.
Digest, challenge, and knowledgeably communicate channel performance and analysis.
Find opportunities for the organic growth of accounts as the digital landscape evolves.
Work with Account Directors to monitor profitability and ensure accurate billing and forecasting to ensure the financial health of the accounts.
Partner with Delivery team members to identify ideas/solutions to meet client's strategic objectives.
Partner with Delivery team members to ensure work is partner-ready by paying close attention to details.
Adopt high quality account management standards and channel best practices.
At least 5 years of account management experience, ideally with a digital media industry, working on integrated accounts.
Bachelor's Degree Required.
Proven technical understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Display Marketing.
Proven ability to service clients in a digital environment.
Adept at managing client expectations as it relates to scope and delivery of service.
Able to assimilate and jump into new business and adopt best practices quickly and with conviction.
Strong project management and performance management skills.
Must be open to travel as needed.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven ability to set team priorities and collaborate with other departments to deliver services to clients.
Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to represent and promote TSA in a professional manner and articulate value to partners.
Good energy and excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
