Account Manager Clinicient
The Account Manager is the champion of the client and is responsible for guiding billing service clients through the Clinicient experience and for creating highly satisfied, reference clients. The Account Manager will engage with the client during the sales and implementation process to properly set expectations, work proactively and collaboratively with the client and internal partners to align company and client resources to ensure the maximization of revenue and payment recovery, and assist client management by providing periodic reporting, analysis of result and making recommendations for improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Providing first-line post implementation training and support for billing service clients.
o Establishing and maintaining billing rules, business logic, workflows, fee schedules, payer and credentialing settings, EDI and ERA management.
o Medicare Part A experience
o Identifying and articulating unmet client needs to product and operations management for resolution.
o Analyze accounts receivable and direct follow up team to work with payers and determine status of unpaid claims and taking the necessary actions to ensure prompt claim payment.
o Monthly reporting of client results and identification of issues and recommended actions to improve results.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Collaborating with Practice Management Consultants and other internal teams to identify product and process improvements to achieve greater billing efficiency.
o Beta testing of software product releases.
o Ad hoc projects as requested.
o Period close and generating statements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
o 2-3 years previous experience in healthcare account management and/or customer service.
o Strong knowledge of medical billing including commercial payer, Medicare, Medicaid, workers compensation and patient responsibility is highly desirable.
o AA degree or degree/certificate in medical billing/coding is desirable.

o Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
o Ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of data.
o In depth knowledge of Excel with the ability to customize reports and perform custom analysis.
o Demonstrated ability to work in a highly interdependent team environment
o Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
