POSITION OVERVIEW
The Ad Network Account Manager is responsible for client retention, revenue growth, and business analysis for our web display product. This individual should have highly developed communication skills, a core understanding of the online display business, and analytical skills for investigating business metrics. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all publisher relationships for the Ad Network, large and small. Responsibilities include:
Client Retention: The Account Manager will be actively managing clients through continual relationship building, providing consultative services (i.e. tech solutions, ad management), analyzing and reviewing site data as well as delivering general account management duties such as customer service support and platform Q&A. The AM must qualify and understand the publishers? objectives and business models.
Revenue Growth: A key function of the Account Manager position is to grow revenues through value added services and analytical optimizations. The Account Manager is expected up-sell publishers when new products are introduced to the Ad Network (video pre-roll, mobile ads, etc.) and cross-sell, when possible.
Business Analysis: In order to ensure comprehensive account management, the AM is responsible for identifying areas of opportunity and potential threats to their assigned Client List. This is primarily done through data and reporting analysis. Managing these scenarios includes allocating the proper Adknowledge resources to address any Client and Internal needs by working with the Business Development, Engineering, and Ad Ops Teams.
Product Analysis: The Account Manager will also be required to complete and communicate overall product analysis to the Network and Finance teams. These communications are expected to be accurate and comprehensive.
CANDIDATE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years direct account management experience
At least 1 year working in online advertising
Mathematical/Statistical/Analytical background
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other software
