Summary of Position:
The Account Manager (AM) works with Clients, Sales, AdOps, Design and Custom Solutions to develop and execute successful digital media campaigns across In-Text, Display and Mobile for Fortune 500 brand advertisers and their agencies. The AM drives and delivers best practices campaign strategies, ensures proactive client service, definition and tracking of campaign performance drivers, relationship development, and account/campaign/client retention, growth & upsell.
As a member of the Client Services team, this person leads by example and works closely with his/her peers and cross-functionally to deliver winning campaigns for Kontera clients.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree.
3+ years in Digital Media, and 1+ years in Client Services
Experience managing key accounts post sale and for renewal , including analyzing and providing campaign insights.
Understanding of and experience with different campaign types, objectives and requirements: Awareness, Consideration, eCPA/eCPL, Brand Studies, Ad Verification
Strategic thinker that can research information on companies and their business objectives and apply best practice recommendations for campaign strategy and advertising/editorial placements.
Experience executing, planning or buying digital display media leveraging targeting capabilities (contextual, behavioral, audience); across multiple platforms (web, mobile) a plus.
Knowledge of or experience with AdOps/Trafficking a plus.
Experience working cross-functionally and in particular with Sales.
Self-motivated to dig in to learn about products, technology, customers, and competitors.
A good multi-tasker, able to handle multiple projects, people and to meet deadlines with revolving priorities.
Excellent attention to detail; oral and written (email) communication; skills in time-management and patience.
Job Duties Include:
Take ownership and accountability for day to day campaign performance and reporting analysis for the Western region, working with a separate AdOps team for launch and optimizations.
Liaison with Kontera Sales Management, Sales people, Design, Custom Solutions, Publisher Relations and AdOPs.
Answer Client and Sales initiated questions, acting as the go to person for campaign strategy and execution best practices
Manage the campaign launching process including client kick off call, strategy recommendation, asset collection, design specs, copy writing and logins.
Oversee quality of campaign set-up and ongoing performance against client objectives, client service and contact. Work closely with the Trafficking team to fix any issues. Recommend upsell where appropriate.
Scope, prepare and present client Campaign and Account Reviews to summarize results and insights; best practice recommendations for next campaigns. Join Sales in field for existing and new business as Best Practices advisor.
Represent the Account Management team nationally to interface with Product to set requirements for In-Text & Display capabilities, reporting, UIs, etc. QA as needed. Develop and roll out new processes and products to Account Management team nationally.
Execute analyses/projects that could include tool development, regional analysis, regional revenue reconciliation and/or other high level initiatives.
Attend industry events when opportunity arises.
