We are seeking an Account Manager who can effectively target institutions and enterprises from large hospitals, affordable care organizations and academic medical centers to facilitate the onboarding of their personnel, caregivers, and medical practitioners onto Epocrates.

Your primary responsibility would be to facilitate and engage clients to get the most out of their Epocrates Essentials for Enterprise services - the all-in-one medical reference product trusted by over one million healthcare professionals for vital clinical decisions at the point of care. Epocrates Essentials is the #1 medical app for drug, disease and decision support tools. In this role you would use your strategic communications and marketing skills to develop marketing programs to aid clients with rollout and adoption of Epocrates within their user base.
Caregivers turn to Epocrates multiple times a day to improve patient safety, make more informed medical decisions and save time. It is the trusted source for drug, disease and decision support tools at the point of care because it is developed by clinicians for clinicians. You would report directly to a sales manager and enthusiastically perform the following tasks:
- Facilitate training of end-users on the app and its functions on both the Mobile and desktop configurations
- Support the on-boarding of new enterprise institutions
- Develop marketing programs and tactics to aid clients with rollout and adoption of Epocrates within their user base
- Collaborate with athenahealth's marketing team to help clients promote epocrates to their userbase so they get the most users out of their subscription
- Work with athenahealth's Enterprise account managers to identify cross-sell opportunities
- Support the Sales Team on special projects as needed

Recognize yourself? If so, you undoubtedly possess the following experience, and then some:
â€¢ Bachelor of Science or Arts degree required
â€¢ 5-7 years of consulting experience
â€¢ 1-3 years of exposure to physician revenue cycle or EMR in a, services or consulting capacity
â€¢ Demonstrated history of accomplishment bringing positive change through a top-tier consulting firm or on the ground within a physicians' practice or academic medical center
â€¢ 1-2 years of experience in direct sales, sales engineering or a demonstrated ability to influence decisions
The Account Manager reports directly to the Director of Institutional Sales for Epocrates and must be willing to travel occasionally (10-15%).
