Summary:
Generate revenue by selling and servicing accounts via the phone, Internet and face to face. Learn and be able to present SafeNet products and services to customers or prospects. Responsible closing new business and forecasting all sales activity on a quarterly basis. Track all sales activity in CRM system. (Rev responsibility usually ranges from $1M - $3M)
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors Degree
Experience:
1 year Technology sales experience preferred
Previous experience selling services in support of technology or software products is highly desirable but not required
Skills:
Strong computer skills and knowledge of SafeNet sales tools
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Exhibited sales skills
Ability to use internal resources efficiently

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Performs inside sales activities within assigned geographic area or product/service line via phone, email and face to face to meet or exceed revenue objectives
? Responsible for existing customer management including pricing, forecasting, product information and problem resolution.
? Uses furnished list of telephone numbers and follows an established sales script to inform customers and prospects of company products/services
? Places outbound calls to solicit sales, usually involving add-on sales to existing customers or smaller sized new accounts
? Often responsible for moderately complex and somewhat difficult to close sales.
? Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
Responds to e-mail inquiries, phone, and other communications arriving via the Internet.
? Closes new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information.
? Serves as a liaison between customers and appropriate company departments to resolve customer questions and problems.
Responsible for providing and maintaining up to date account and activity records:
? Record all sales related activity in corporate CRM for the purpose of reporting and management visibility.
? Use data to drive personal sales behavior.
? Work with management to analyze results and plan improvements.
Other duties:
? Assist with the ordering process when needed.
? Responsible for accurately forecasting territories revenue on a quarterly basis.
? Presents quarterly territory reviews and plans for next quarter.
? Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
? Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
? Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.
? Travel to customer or prospect site when necessary with management approval.
