Account Manager (Sydney, Australia) Active Network

Active Network delivers integrated technology solutions, marketing services and online media properties that encourage and enable participation in activities and events all around the world!
We are currently seeking proven sales performers to help us develop and grow loyal customers throughout the Asia Pacific region. We are hiring in multiple different markets such Events, Endurance, Communities and Golf. Previous sales experience in addition to technology sales experience is desirable.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and renewing existing clients as well as cross-selling and up-selling Active's products and services. We are looking for driven sales team members, with excellent customer service and leadership skills, and a high level of enthusiasm. Your success will be based on an ability to work with the team to retain and grow current accounts within a specific market.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, including renewing expiring contracts
- Promoting and selling additional online technology applications and services
- Building trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Understanding current customers' business issues and buying motives
- Conducting “needs analysis†for clients
- Delivering the right solution for clients' evolving business requirements
Requirements:
- 2 years business-to-business sales / consulting experience with a proven successful track record
- Ability to deliver on growth, selecting and qualifying opportunities, and achieving sales objectives with customer accounts
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer-focused, strong communication and organizational skills, goal oriented, and self-motivated team player
- Working knowledge of Internet, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to learn, use and understand technology
- Team Player
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
