The Telerik team is growing and we are currently looking for Account Managers to join our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) sales team in Waltham, MA. ALM-Tools are designed to accelerate performance throughout the full development application lifecycle.In this role, you will be working with a team to proactively identify, develop, support and maximize revenue opportunities from existing and newly acquired clients. As a Telerik Account Manager, you will be expected to:
? Enhance the experience of Telerik clients by developing strong relationships and by providing exceptional customer support
? Determine innovative ways to successfully sell into and develop relationships with customers across multiple industries with varied business processes and organizational objectives
? Establish and expand key relationships to understand the customer?s business initiatives and further expand Telerik technologies within each account.
? Work closely with the customer to gain insights into business pains and opportunities
? Actively solicit customer feedback and worked with Product Management to communicate customer needs, enhancements, and priorities
? Maintain a revenue base by managing account retention through support renewals and product upsells
? Work with other Sales teams to promote all Telerik products to prospective customers
? Continually develop and maintain industry and product knowledge as new features are rolled out and market trends emerge.
You will be the person who has/is (a/an):
? BA/BS degree is preferred.
? 2-3 years Account Management experience in technology industry preferred
? Business analysis skills and experience with automated tools (including Excel, databases, etc.)
? Excellent phone and in-person sales skills, with a strategic understanding of client-account manager business model.
? A firm grasp of how business works, including sales, consultative, problem solving, and issue resolution skills
? Understanding of Product Management and Marketing perspectives
? Technical aptitude with
? Extremely organized and highly motivated
? Excellent verbal/written communication skills including presentations, with the ability to exude executive presence
