Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota for more than three decades, partnered with Insight Imaging in 2012 to create one of the nation?s largest radiology providers for fixed site and mobile diagnostic imaging and interventional services. Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. Our organization will serve nearly a million patients in 2013, offering a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures that complement each community?s needs, in collaboration with radiologists, healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems.
We are currently seeking a full-time, Account Representative to join our Buffalo Office in New York.
JOB SUMMARY: Communicates billing information with patients, carriers, co-workers and attorneys to ensure timely collections of accounts receivable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

?Communicates with patients, carriers, co-workers and attorneys in a timely, effective manner to expedite the billing and collection of accounts receivable
?Prioritizes work load, concentrating on ?priority? work which will enhance bottom line results and achievement of the most important objectives

?Exhibit good work ethic and productivity
?Contributes to the steady reduction of the days-sales-outstanding (DSO), increase monthly gross collections and increase percentage of collections

?Knowledge of basic level computer skills including Windows based platforms
?Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
?Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
?High School diploma or equivalent
?2+ years experience in a medical collection department
?Knowledge of Workers Compensation, HMO?s, PPO?s, MA and other third party payors
?Strong verbal and written communication skills
?Professional and friendly telephone voice
?Must have Microsoft Office experience
