JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary of Functions:
Due to continued rapid growth we are seeking an Account Representative Manager.
To assume management oversight of the customer service, supply planning, and materials management function among the aerospace client base. To apply disciplined supply chain planning and management practices in order to ensure maximum customer service while minimizing capital investment and operating costs.
Essential Functions:
To oversee the customer service, materials management, and supply planning functions by providing a disciplined process of training and work instruction to a staff of Supply Planners.
Ensure compliance of operating procedures as defined in position work instructions.
Ensure customer fulfillment goals are achieved on a consistent basis.
Ensure the compliance with inventory investment objectives.
Coordinate supply planning activities with the Demand Planning, Buying and Customer operations Support Teams to ensure clear and consistent communications along the supply chain.
Identify and implement a performance dashboard that includes the KPI?s necessary to clearly identify functional performance and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement a corporate S&OP process.
Manage the maintenance of all supply planning and inventory management parameters within the corporate supply chain applications.
Lead the material expediting, transfer or substitution processes in order to ensure maximum service to the customer base.
Recruit, train and develop a qualified team of Supply Planners who will demonstrate a commitment to achieving internal New Breed and external customer service.
Physical Requirements:
25% travel required
Stable and comfortable office environment.
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Must be capable of operating standard office equipment.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
Four year degree in Business or Operations management required, MBA preferred.
Minimum of 8 years experience in leading complex customer service and supply chain activities.
APICS certification or willingness to earn certification required.
Experience in the use of Logility software desired.
Strong data management capability.
Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Strong presentation skills.
