JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary of Functions:
The Account Representative (AR) is responsible for managing the relationship between New Breed and the Client?s Tier 1 Suppliers, as well as managing the relationship between New Breed and the client.
The AR must have an in depth understanding of the program?s business model and the ability to articulate the concepts when addressing issues or concerns from the Client, Manufacturers, or Tier 1 Suppliers.
The AR must be able to accurately address issues, questions, or concerns from the Client, New Breed, Manufacturers, or Tier 1 Suppliers. This means answering questions directly, or obtaining answers from internal knowledge experts.
The AR role requires full knowledge of the Program?s organizational structure (who does what) for both New Breed and the Client to effectively procure answers when necessary.
The AR is responsible for ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of significant issues or concerns and must know when it is appropriate to escalate issues to the next level of management.
The AR must be an expert on New Breed systems including the Supplier Portal and Order Manager.
Essential Functions:
Execute customer service functions by understanding and utilizing New Breed provided systems and tools.
Ensure compliance to operating procedures as defined in position work instructions.
Ensure customer satisfaction goals are achieved on a consistent basis.
Coordinate customer service activities with the demand planning and purchasing operations support teams to ensure clear and consistent communications along the supply chain.
Achieve established goals for customer service performance.
Coordinate communications among Suppliers, Manufacturers, the Client, and New Breed.
Maintain a professional working relationship with the Client?s PA?s.
Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft office Excel. Power Point
Education and/or Experience Requirements
Four year college degree
Minimum of 4 years experience in Account Management
Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Excellent presentation skills.
Must speak a second language (conversational). Preferably Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
Responsibilities:
As the primary interface between New Breed and the Tier 1 Supplier, the Account Representative must be courteous, articulate, and professional at all times.
Accurately answer questions related to invoicing, min/max values, order status, lead times, and related topics.
Manage the rush order / expedite process.
Implement policies, procedures, processes, and work instructions necessary to achieve Customer Service KPI?s.
Collect, maintain, and distribute metric data and reports.
Manage the Supplier Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.
Own the relationship between New Breed and the Supplier.
Own the relationship between New Breed and the Client.
Escalate issues as necessary.
Follow-up on all requests until closed.
Inform New Breed senior management of any significant issues.
