Account Sales Manager II (TX) AccessClosure

SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUMMARY: Reporting to the RSM and with a dotted line to the DSM, will work with the territory DSM to increase the business by training new users.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis:
Will take day to day direction on training and sales activity from territory DSM
Responsible for continuing rapport and assistance to existing open accounts
Responsible for ongoing clinical support, patient follow up, and addressing clinical issues
May assist in the training of new users on the Mynx device along with current users.
Gain professional and technical knowledge through on-the-job training, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and by participating in professional societies
Work to support DSM in attaining or exceeding quarterly quota for the territory
60 travel to support the territory

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience and 2+ years related experience in the medical device/pharmaceutical field (cath lab technician, nurse, etc.) or in a related area
Clinical sales background ideal
Effective interpersonal interactions, both within the Commercialization group and in accounts
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills; ability to adapt to changing work priorities
Above average reading, verbal, and written communications skills; proficiency in business English and grammar; good arithmetic skills and attention to detail to maintain records and process reports
Proficiency with PC-based office computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Ability to work independently

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work includes potential exposure to human bloodborne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.

Work includes potential exposure to radiation sources such as fluoroscope in a catheter laboratory setting.

Work includes potential exposure to chemicals.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No direct supervisory responsibilities.
