This role is a key part of our amazing Product Shopping sales team for Nextag.com. The Account Support Specialists are experts at providing our merchants with the comprehensive support that makes our site the best platform anywhere to market products to consumers. We love ecommerce, and this role helps our merchants optimize the tools that make our unique shopping experience possible. Responsibilities:
Provide customer support for major customers/merchants via email and telephone
Effectively handle and resolve customer concerns and support issues
Use Nextag systems to activate new merchants
Communicate with technical support staff, billing department and the Development Team about relevant customer complaints or inquiries
Resolve product or service problems by:
clarifying the inquiries to determine the cause of the problem
selecting and explaining the best solution to solve problems
expediting correction or adjustment
following up to ensure resolution
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good listener, well organized , and detail oriented
Proficient knowledge of Win 2000/XP and MS Office applications
Team oriented with the ability to work independently
Excellent customer service ethic
Solid knowledge of Internet and able to adapt to new technology and changes.
Ability to navigate a computerized data entry system issue tracking applications
University Degree required
Bonus:
1-2 years of customer/sales support experience is a big plus
Proficient working with HTML; additional graphic and web design skills a plus
Knowledge of CSS a plus
Fluent in English (Spanish, Japanese, Italian, German, and French a plus)
