Accountant I Clinicient
The Accountant I will use accounting knowledge and experience to perform day-to-day functions of the accounting department, with a primary focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and maintain accurate client records and accounts including preparing and distributing accurate and timely invoices, processing client payments, and pursuing and resolving unpaid and past due invoices.
Maintain vendor records by ensuring that all properly documented invoices are entered into Clinicient?s accounting system on a timely basis, and proposing, processing and mailing weekly check runs.
Assist in the development and documentation of accounting policies and internal financial controls.
Ensure accurate and timely financial information by assisting in the period close process through the preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintenance of appropriate supporting schedules.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support general office activities through the performance of some administrative duties as required.
Ad hoc projects and reporting as requested.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Accounting required.
1-2 years experience in a similar position.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting rules and practices.
Proficiency with current computer software tools, including Excel, Access and other Microsoft tools. Quickbooks experience desirable.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across all levels of the organization and with outside clients, partners, and vendors.
