Accountant (Part-Time) Harmony Information Systems

The part-time accountant will assist in the day-to-day activities of the Accounting department and provide applicable reports to monitor the financial health of the organization.
--Maintain and Reconcile Accounts Payable ledgers
--Posting of Journal Entries; Vendor Bills
--Manage regular Cash Disbursements process with CFO
--Maintain and Reconcile Accounts Receivable ledgers
--Posting of Journal Entries; Cash Receipts
--Posting of Journal Entries; Debits and Credits to multiple Cash ledgers
--Participate in monthly close and preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and within established deadlines
--Participate in the year-end close audit process and financial statements
--Participate in the issuance of accurate and timely financial results and statements
--Assist with tax preparation and audits
--Identify trends and make appropriate recommendations
--A Bachelor's degree in Accounting
--Superior computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft office and NetSuite
--Experience in the software industry preferred
--Proficient in operational accounting procedures
--Ability to prioritize multiple projects/requests and operate independently with minimum daily supervision
--Build and maintain effective relationships within the organization and with external customers and vendors
