A self-motivated individual, with a demonstrated ability to create value in a rapidly evolving, post-acquisition environment. Global Corporate level accounting focus with significant responsibility in the worldwide commission process and preparation of associated journal entries, reconciliations and transaction analysis. Ongoing emphasis on continuous improvement of processes and procedures, to improve our efficiency.
Coordinator of the Worldwide Commission inputs into Xactly.
Reengineer the Commission Process with Business Partners.
Prepare monthly commission calculations.
Validate commission calculations with Sales compensation plans, draws, credits, etc.
Prepare and review month end accounting reconciliations for commissions.
Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of deferred commissions in the financial statements.
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with approved policies and procedures.
Assist in ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met, help maintain checklists and calendars.
Monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Suggest and implement process improvements as company grows.
Assist in preparation of internal financial reporting packages
Support auditors during year-end audits.
Other general accounting and analyst responsibilities, as needed.
Adhoc projects as required.
Become in house ?Super User? for Xactly and transmitted to Oracle R12.
Documentation of accounting treatment and accounting process as needed.
Research accounting and financial reporting rules and regulations.
Assist in providing support on ad-hoc projects as requested.
Assist in process change, improvements, and new system integrations.
Support special projects related to new acquisitions and integrating new entities.
Proficient in data entry systems, primarily Xactly, Oracle R12, Microsoft Office Suite
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
Ability to manage projects and deadlines, organized and efficient.
High degree of ownership, willing to take on tasks and projects outside of immediate responsibilities.
Team player, dependable and flexible.
Attention to detail in all areas.
Quick learner enjoys change, takes initiative, self-starter, enjoys problem solving.
Enjoys working with colleagues both within and outside of Finance.
5 to 7+ Years of Accounting experience, including process and systems experience
Large public company and private company experience preferred
Big 4 Public Accounting Experience preferred
Lean Six Sigma a plus
Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
