Gain practical hands on experience in the field of accounting working as our Accounting Intern. From your first day, you are a contributing member of the team with meaningful responsibilities, which allow you to have a realistic look at what ModSpace provides to our clients throughout North America.Working part-time (up to 20 hours per work week) as a member of the Accounting team, you participate in all facets of accounting from reconciliation, monthly closes, and ad hoc and routine reporting as well as performing special projects for various departments including Finance Planning and Analysis.
The Accounting Intern supports and performs general ledger activities for the Finance Group including but not limited to:
Participating in timely and accurate ?monthly closes? for ModSpace
Completing monthly reconciliations
Assisting in the monthly reconciliation of fixed assets
Compiling and aggregating financial reports
Performing Ad Hoc requests for detailed financial information
Executing various FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) tasks

A successful Accounting Intern candidate has:
An Accounting or Finance major entering junior or senior year of college
A minimum GPA of 3.0
