Clarabridge, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager for our headquarters located in Reston, VA. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for maintaining the company?s general ledger, reviewing account reconciliations, and managing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process. Individuals seeking a challenging, multifaceted role in a fast-paced work environment will enjoy the diverse responsibilities of this key position within our Finance department. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the financial close process
Determine proper handling of financial transactions and approve transactions within designated limits
Analyze financial information and prepare reports to summarize and interpret the company?s current and projected financial position
Prepare the financial reporting package for Senior Management and the Board of Directors
Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
Assist with annual audit
Perform technical accounting research and provide appropriate accounting guidance and treatment.
Oversee the US accounts payable and payroll functions
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
Minimum 2 years of progressive accounting related work experience
Proven background in leadership and management of a company?s accounting function
Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and especially Excel
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (Solomon)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and able to work well with a team
Self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency
Ability to comfortably work in an intensely deadline-oriented environment
Experience using Unanet is a plus
