Position: Accounting Manager to oversee Revenue, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Collections.
Daily Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Direct responsibility for the accounting and collection of all Tennis Channel revenue-
Including; Ad Sales, affiliate subscriber fees, and other miscellaneous sources.
Direct interaction with various department heads to ensure clear communication necessary to
Accurately record all revenue generating activities.
Ensures all monthly accounting close responsibilities for Revenue and Accounts Receivable are
completed accurately in a timely manner.
Direct supervision over the performance and development of one Staff Accountant.
Direct interaction with both an offsite affiliate subscriber fee support group and in-house ad sales team that provide key data necessary for performing tasks.
Progressive understanding of supporting systems to continue to maintain an efficient and effective workflow in a rapidly growing business environment.
Review, assess, and implement accounting and general business policies and procedures.
Interface directly with other department heads to provide financial support and analysis.
Special projects as assigned.
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years progressive accounting experience
CPA/Public Accounting experience preferred, but not required if background includes
Revenue, Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales, and/or Entertainment experience
Minimum two years Accounting Manager/Supervisor role
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in excel
Familiarity with Great Plains, Broadway, FRx Reporting
