Accounting Manager Aerohive Networks

We are hiring an Accounting Manager to ensure the consistency and accuracy of month end close and worldwide consolidation, and work with the Controller to streamline and enhance work processes.

Strong background in consolidation, intercompany eliminations and foreign currencies
Month End Responsibilities
Able to work in fast-paced, Start Up environment

Responsibilities:

Month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations and related entries with hands-on general ledger work
Strong reconciliation and analysis of Cost of Goods Sold
Prepare audit schedules (including revenue, deferred revenue, AR schedules)
Prepare third party royalty report obligations
Serve as the revenue point of contact externally and internally on a day to day basis
Reconcile Equity and handle the daily processes including ASC718 valuation
Support system changes related to new enhancements and features and other ad hoc projects

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience with 3-4 years in revenue recognition
In depth knowledge of ASU 2009-13/14 along with ASC 985
Must be an advance user of Excel and other Microsoft office products
Must have significant experience in manipulating large data sets
CPA or equivalent is necessary
Mix of public and private experience desired, hi-tech required
Must be able to work in a high paced team environment
Must be team oriented
Must have a "can do" attitude

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in accounting or related field
CPA Required
Knowledge of SOP 97-2, EITF 00-21, and EITF 08-1 principles required
Candidate should have solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
Strong Systems Experience (Net Suite highly desired)
Proficient in Excel
Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrate the ability to work with others as well as independently.
Firm foundation of generally accepted accounting principles
Handles the challenges of a fast-paced environment
