Major Duties and Responsibilities:



Management of Staff



Coordinate work efforts to ensure timely completion of financial deadlines

Provide quarterly objectives and provide timely feedback with respect to performance

Develop staff with additional job opportunities and/or cross training

Review work efforts of staff for accuracy



Accounts Payable



Set up and manage efficient processes to ensure accurate and timely payment of vendors

Manage filing process for 1099

Manage process for accrual of liabilities and accurate cut-off

Manage process for cash disbursements

Coordinate set up of scanning process to replace filing of hard copy payable documents

Manage automated expense reporting process to ensure accurate financial records and timely reimbursement of employees



Accounts Receivable



Manage invoicing process to ensure accurate recording of sales on a daily basis, with reconciliation to Salesforce.com

Ensure accurate billing for sales tax with complete documentation for resale certificates on file

Manage accounts receivable collections to ensure timely receipt of cash



General Ledger



Ensure timely and accurate completion of all journal entries

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all balance sheet reconciliations

Review and post journal entries as completed



Payroll



Manage processing of semi-monthly payroll

Review payroll for accuracy

Ensure timely payment and processing of international payroll





Education Requirements:


BA or BS degree

MBA a plus

Experience Requirements:


Minimum of 8 years experience

Minimum of 2 year experience in accounting management

CPA a plus















Other Qualifications:



Punctuality, accuracy, dependability, accountability, and superior work ethic are all required

The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization (internal or external) is required

Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills are required

Experience using integrated ERP systems is required

Experience using QAD Mfg/Pro is a plus

Experience in the medical device industry is a plus
