REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager, Portico
Exclusive Resorts seeks an Accounting Specialist to join the Accounting Department. The Accounting Specialist will primarily support Accounts Payables for Portico and also have certain Accounts Receivables responsibilities. This position will report to Accounting Manager of Portico.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter all invoices (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly?including all leases, HOA?s etc) for payment
Review and submit invoice journal batches for posting
Review and enter expense reports in accordance with company policies
Enter international and domestic wires in the bank website for approval
Create and submit payment batches for approval
Review and process corporate credit card statements for payment
Enter sales and use tax payments
Assist with vendor questions, update contact information, and research payments
Process prepaid travel journal entries
Review month-end aging and match GL Month end reconciliation to invoices on hand
Code payables invoices and submit payment request for approval
Prepare and upload journal entries for prepaid accounts
Assist Accounting Manager with 1099 and 1042 process at year end
Process payments for reservation billing
Assist with audit process including providing information for all audit request
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two ? five years related experience and/or training
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with high volume data entry
Ability to handle a high level of deadlines
Must be well organized and a self-starter
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude while completing time sensitive projects
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Team player focused on the goals and results of the team with a high level of initiative
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX
